He was born July 3, 1945, in San Diego, Calif., to Nave Junior and Nancy Alice (Casteel) Abbiss. Eddie served in the US Air Force during the Viet Nam conflict. Eddie was a member of First Christian Church, in Wewoka. She is survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Leonard Joe Alderson, Jr., age 58, died Sunday, Jan. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. in Konawa, under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, in Konawa. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Eula Mae Johnson. Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Sand Creek Cemetery, in Cromwell, with Dr. He was a retired maintenance technician at Central State Hospital, in Norman, where he retired after 21 years of public service in 1983.
He was also a retired member of the Oklahoma National Guard and was honorably discharged Feb. He is survived by his sons, Raymond Alexander, of Sturgeon, Mo., Marvin Alexander, of Shawnee, Paul Alexander, of Tecumseh, and David Alexander, of Hartsville, Tenn.; daughter, Bonnie Gibson, of Mounds; 27 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
